Yep! It could be very fast even without any mods :)

Kind of following on from these last 4, if anyone has any more photos showing details of rollcages fitted to Visas, I would be most interested in seeing them. I am particularly interested in the position of the main hoop in relation to the front seats and the position of the mountings onto the floor.

Thanks.

Have you watched the FIA Homologation? There's pictures how the rollcage is mounted.
I Have that if you want it i can send it by e-mail. PM me if you want ;)
I think it was welded and bolt-on to the chassis floor.

...we have three forum members with roll cages in their Visa and a fourth one who is about to install one. It's a bit tucked away here so I will start this topic again in Visa Chat to see if we can get more response.

Mikee wrote:We all know the French love to rally their Visas and have done so right from the start back in 1980. In the beginning the French competed at local and regional levels before the Visa graduated to national and international competition. It once seemed as though every Citroën garage had a Visa that they used for one form of motor sport or another - wonderful advertising of course. There has always been a Visa of some kind in rally competition for the last thirty years in France, these days of course they are back to competing in local, regional and classic events - but they are still there. They still come in all shapes and sizes from the amazing pig-nosed 1219cc Mk1 Super X through to Chrono, GTi, Trophee and 4x4 Mille Pistes.

...the last two photos in the original post above were from 2010 - here are a few more, some known to you and some not, that were still active in motorsport during 2010:

...I'm sure there will be more in the years to come. :D
