A VISA ON THE ROAD!

Postby Frugg » Sat Jul 09, 2011 11:55 am

Couldn't believe it - just spotted a Visa heading Southbound by Junction 8 of the M5 :o :o

I tried to get a picture but I wasn't quick enough :( but it was Silver/Grey colour and had a boot spoiler.

Any ideas who it was? :?:

...nobody on my list in that area Franklin, the closest Silver Visa would have been the Cabrio that Patrick sold to the Warwick area. The 10E Leader, 11RE, 14TRS, GT, 17D Leader, and GTi 105bhp were done in silver and have a boot spoiler. As far as I know and after looking at How Many Left figures for April 1 this year I think you can rule out 14TRS, GT, 17D Leader, and GTi 105bhp; that leaves us with two 10E Leader (both silver) and four 11RE (assorted colours) that are all taxed. It's in Dom's neck of the woods, he may know :?: :D

My initial thoughts around the time Mike was this 17D Leader that was for sale in North Wales - link.

As I was posting on my phone and didn't have a laptop to hand I couldn't really do a DVLA Search on it but this comes up now -

The vehicle details for D63 JCL are:
Date of Liability 01 08 2011
Date of First Registration 24 01 1987
Year of Manufacture 1987
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1769CC
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type Heavy Oil
Export Marker Not Applicable
Vehicle Status Licence Due to Expire
Vehicle Colour SILVER

Could it be? :?:

...amazing really, the April Citroenian advert and the DVLA say it's taxed until the end of this month, whereas DfT say all six 17D Leader were on SORN at the end of Dec'10 and March'11. I don't think we ever new who bought it, but if you remember richardd1652 was interested - Richard lives in North Yorks though. Let's hope it is and it makes the National next weekend and we see this:
