It’s a while since I have noticed a Citroën AX but one visited me today, this one an AX Spree. It belongs to Dave a friend of my next-door neighbour who has bought it two weeks ago as a runabout. Dave has very limited knowledge of cars and Graham my neighbour advised him to do an oil and filter change as there was rust on the oil filter! I have rented extra storage for my car collection this winter so for once it was easy to offer my garage to do the Job.

Very nice AX! Love the color. It's one from the last series, the nicest ones in my opinion. The Mk1 series had a cardboard-like interior, not really car like, but more 'sans permis'...

Did the AX ever come out in automatic?

I don't think they ever did.
