Hello Franklin
If the engine is standard the 12TRS is powered by the GSA 1299cc boxer engine, but I dont think either of those air filters are standard... but I know a man who will know when I track him down as he's off to a Renault Rally in France this weekend.
Anyone else know

that top under bonnet shot looks like it has dual twin choke carbs (WEBBERS???), one for each head,

Year I see where you're coming from Malcolm - JB who has a GSA is with you and says:
...no they are both modified - the single carb has a k/n unit and the rally car has twin carbs fitted posibly alpha sud units, regards John B.

Yes they look like twin Dellortos or Webers from an Alfa boxer(Sud Ti, Sprint or 33).
