CCC National Rally 2011 - July 16 - 17th.

Postby Frugg » Wed Jan 19, 2011 6:05 pm

Well it's been pretty much confirmed that the National Rally of the CCC will be held on the weekend of the 16-17th of July 2011.
It's a new venue for this year at The Skylark Showground at Manea, Cambridgeshire. Here's their website.

You can also see here, the location of the showground too.

Now, the eagle-eyed of you will spot that it is very near to where we live (2 miles!), so it is very convenient indeed! :D

This means that we'll be taking a fair number of cars there, including the Visas too - definitely the 14TRS, my Special and the Decap (if we've still got it by then).

...this could be a 'bumper' Visa meeting, so if you plan to come, it would be great for it to be in a Visa / LN / LNA / C15!

We had a quick look over the car and found it needs the rear brake shoes replaced as the linings have fallen jamming the rear wheels, a throttle cable as the old one has snapped, have a new one ready to fit, a slight blow on the rear silencer and a small repair required on the bulkhead. :(
work on the car should start once the weather improves as it shares garage space with dads pride and joy which he will not put outside in the bad weather, and there is not enough room to work on the visa with both cars inside.

...again this year it clashes with the German Visa Rally in the Mosel Valley, so I've got a decision to make Lee - it could be the Germans turn this year as I haven't been there since 2008 :?: :o :D

Beauty and the Beast will be attending! :D -lol-

Hopefully you'll decide to come to the National Rally Mike - I can guarantee that the 14TRS and the Special will be there! I don't know whether the Special will be able to make it to any other meetings soon but as the National Rally is 2 miles away from us it definitely will be there.

Well there's not too long to this so I thought I'd make a roll call if you're attending.
Just copy and paste the list and add yourself to it if you intend to go.

1. Visa 14TRS - Frugg
2. Visa 652cc Special - Frugg
3.
