The Citroën Rendezvous in the USA was at the Saratoga Springs Racecourse this year, the excellent weather guarenteed a good attendance:

...John's red Super X has been a regular attender for many years, but the cream Mk1 Club is a new one to me :o :

Hello Mike,

Isn't that Manny, second from the left in the left foreground, I'd recognise that tummy anywhere even if it is a long way from home.

...so David I've enlarged it, the photo that is not the tummy, and yes it sure does look like Manny - well spotted.

...over the years I have included emails from John about his Visa Super X in the Citroën Car Club magazine and there are lots of enthusiasts who met him at the ICCCR event when it was held in America. After viewing more photos from the event I now realise that sadly John died earlier this year and this photo shows a lone piper playing a lament in tribute alongside John's car, with a written tribute to John in front of the car:
