Well that should be three Visas............ i booked mine in on March 28th :!: Maybe better check that out as i'd hate to have to wait until i'm 84 to attend the next ICCCR in UK! -lol-

...wonderful thing statistics Roger - including yourself I now know of 11 LN/A, Visa and C15 owners who have prebooked, but most own other Citroens as well and it's all a question of what they put on their booking form - I'm sure Mr Popka realises that being a marketing man. -lol- -lol- -lol-
...no need to worry - if you're going to be 84, I can't even think what I will be. :(

...as the ICCCR revised event dates now overlap the Olympic dates, there has been some concern shown on the CCC forum by owners who may have to miss the Citroën event due to business commitments. The organisers of the ICCCR event have put this on the forum:

mpopka wrote:Don't worry you will be able to watch it all on the T'internet. Our plans are that we will be "broadcasting" live via the website.

Teams of on-site digital camera and phone owners will be streaming live video up to the Website where those of you who are unable to attend will be able to make special requests for interviews and close ups of all aspects of the event....

We did say that this event would be setting the baseline for future ICCCR's to follow, didn't we!

As stated previously, your suggestions, ideas and requirements are always welcome - this is your event, our job is to take your requirements and deliver them to you, wherever you are,,,

Watch out for the ICCCR IPoD APP, coming your way soon!

mpopka wrote:As At 04-OCT-11 we have the following booked:

Vehicles: 750
Participants: 1,517

Don't Forget: It's less than 12 weeks to the next increase in the advance 5 day booking fee (Dec-31-11), so book now and save!

...the latest update on the CCC forum also outlines the provisional program for the event - well worth a read:

Nice. I have been on the refurbished website before and saw the P&O discount offer.

For some dubious reason P&O charges different fares for “trailers” up to 1.80 m height and “caravans” up to 1.80 m height. About 200 (!) Euros difference.

To make sure what my PARADISO is considered to be in the eyes of P&O, I mailed a picture to their customer service e-mail address and got the reply within a day: Mine is a “trailer”.
Lots of € saved! Hooray! I just completed my booking.

So, I will not take the Visa and tent to Harrogate, it will be the Pluriel plus trailer.

Thanks for pointing out the P&O discount. However, i went onto the ICCCR website and couldn't find any mention of it. I've emailed the organisers for further info.

Thanks for that Henning, i did actually find the info after i'd posted my message!
However, it appeared that the P&O offer was for travel to UK from Europe only and Ireland wasn't mentioned. I then emailed Mick at ICCCR and this has been confirmed :(
But the good news is that Mick is now on the case to try and address the issue ...... :D

Ireland already kicked out of Europe?

Must call Angela Merkel to get this fixed.
