Normally I wouldn't bother to put an event on this forum 18 months before it's going to happen. However, an International Citroën Car Clubs Rally is currently in theory the largest classic Citroën Rally any country can hold. Also I'm told by Mick Popka the organisers are currently offering a half price entry deal for tickets puchased on or before the 31st December 2010. He tells me the entry fee for a car + one driver and camping may be £90 for the four day event, the current deal allows you to buy it for £50 from the web site below:

...people may not understand Jon, but it would not be a major European Rally without you there, Saxo Sucks tee-shirt and all. For those of you who are not CCC members this is the advert that the Club are currently running for the Rally:

Will be there as well. Registered some weeks ago.

My travel kit to ICCCR usually is the Pluriel plus folding caravan.

But after some research on fares for the ferry for car plus trailer I guess it will be the Visa plus tent...

What kind of weather can we expect in Yorkshire?

... :D you must not ask an Englishman about the weather Henning, because we get embarrassed very easily on that subject    Let's say the weather in Berlin in August is very similar to the weather in Yorkshire :D and we have started praying for sun already:

"Seems quiet Sort of Guy"
.........!
This impression will be reversed.... see..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkPGfQSKaq0 and watch for about 1-2 minutes
Enjoy.

So

FRIENDS, COUNTRYMEN AND VISA OWNERS, LEND ME YOUR EARS..........

I'm here for any questions you may have regarding the event......

Also, I have an exclusive piece of wonderful news for those of you who have yet to book!

Due to the fantastic response to our 50% discount offer we are extending the discount for a further 3 months.... until 31-Mar-2011.

Why, you may ask?

Well my recent registration on this forum not long before the "old" cut-off date of 31-DEC-10 is one reason.

As a committee we (the organisers of the event) decided that we "could have done a better job" in communications with the (Citroën) world - our focus has been on getting the site sorted and the contract signed.

This has now been completed, further information will be announced via this forum and our website in January!

However, due to our focus being on the event site and the contract, we have not had the resources or time to raise awareness of the event and the pricing structure of advance discounts with you, our future attendees.

Well all that has now changed!

In December we launched our new E-Store, where you can buy the "initial" "T-Shirt" which has been designed for us and will be followed by "Branded" Hoodies, different T-Shirts, Polo Shirts, Fleeces and more over the next 18 months.

The E-Store is also where you can purchase your ticket(s) to attend the event.

The store is here: http://tinyurl.com/icccr2012-store

You can read all about the event here:

http://www.icccr2012.org.uk/FAQ.htm

I will update the FAQ's to reflect the date change on advance discount rate.

Let me have your questions!

I look forward to hearing from you - It's your event, tell us what you want to make it the event of your lifetime and we will try our best!

Also, we need volunteers to help with Meeting, Greeting and Marshalling at the event - we need lots of you to help us for a "little bit" of the event, then you can enjoy it as well as contributing to the organisation of the event.

Let me know how you can help us!

It's not quite "Band Aid" but it's not far off!......(Do we have a Harvey Goldsmith out there.....!)

Regards
Mick
