Forum car sticker

Postby simon68 » Tue May 03, 2011 8:06 am

Has it been discussed before or has anyone ever looked into getting Citroën Visa Forum car stickers/decals made up?
Good way to advertise the forum & raise a few quid at the same time.
Not that i'm volunteering but thought someone on here might have the capabilities of making them up.

Don't know if anyone has had any thoughts on these but if someone has any ideas I'm able to get them made up from a chap near me who did the Honda ones for a forum I go on.

...I'm trying to sort out the artwork side of it guys (via a favour of course) and will keep you posted - incidentally the Dutch Citroën forum do this, as seen on a Visa at Citromobile:

Nice plan. I think the forum needs a logo.
I would never stick a sticker of the dutch visa club on the back of my grey C15, because it's way too colourfull and doesn't suit the car at all.
But I have the plan to have a decal of the club logo made in a lighter shade of grey and stick that on the back.

Haha, I was looking for an example on google images and found this! Completely offtopic, but very funny:

Just seen this!
A forum sticker would be good I agree - and even better if Mike can sort out the artwork. 8-)

Here is a copy of the bx club sticker to give you some ideas, only draw back is that it sticks on the outside of the car thus more open to the elements.
I like the type of sticker that is placed on the inside of the screen like you would have on a new car from the dealer, but this option may be more expensive to produce.

...I prefer the ones that adhere to inside of the screen by means of static too Gary. They are more expensive because you have to print one more colour - on the BX sticker for example you print in black, white and red on clear pvc, as against black and red on white self adhesive pvc for the label that goes on the outside. All those years in the printing industry have at last come in useful. -lol-
