Failed CT on rear chassis rust by the looks of it.

Longeron is (er), chassis box section. Didn't know Visas had them..

He mau be reluctant to let you have the Carte Grise..

A lot of money is that if it's got the rust - doesn't look too inspiring either with it still sat up on blocks inside. :?

I think that the French value the GTi's very highly - whenever I've seen them for sale they are big bucks! Up to 7000 Euros in some cases...! :o :shock:

I'd agree about it being a lot of money. I'm aware that French second hand car prices are rather different to ours, but Euro 700 for a CT failure on rust grounds?

Doors, cills and wings as well by the look of the pics.

That's a 105ch too from the looks of it...

Then there's what other rust is hiding behind the bodykit...interior...carpets...bumpers...etc. :o :shock:

A Silver one eh?! Very rare indeed! We'd love to see a photo of it if possible Visa Geezer. What sort of condition is it in?
