Once you know how to it's very easy.
I think the simplest way to display an image in to get yourself a http://www.photobucket.com account. It's free and you can hold loads of images on there...i'm only up to 40% with over 700 pictures...
Once you've got your account you simply just upload them using the "Upload Images & Videos" tool at the top. Once they have been uploaded and you are viewing the pictures in your album, when you scroll over them with your mouse a little pop up box will appear underneath it. There will be a section called IMG CODE and to the right of it there is a code to your image. Just click on the code to highlight it, right click and then click copy. The image code will look something like this:

Open up the post your want to make and right click and then paste and when previewed the picture should be there!
