Morning

Postby milly » Sat Jan 14, 2012 1:57 am

Its all a little bit strange at the moment said the actress to the bishop. I have ended up with a C15 2002 model in around about sort of way from a 2002 Scudo.
I find it very low to the ground and I need to relearn the technique to getting in and out which is improving slowly as I have had higher up vehicles for years now. Some say it fits me like a pea in a pod I would describe it as a broad bean trying to fit into a pod. Well my first job is heater plugs in morning.
Good website what I have seen. What they like for towing. Any other seats fit from later vehicle without to much modifacation these ones are minging.
regards all

Hello

A bit under-powered for towing I'd say. Seat change shouldn't be a problem.

Well heater plugs look nearly new so tested them and they ok and heater relay timing ok
So looks like valve clearances as you can a little sucking/ chuffing sound when spun over on the key with inlet manifold off.
Any related info on how to the shims any special tools or similar to others, campshaft removal presume and time taken.
If to long then back goes so it would be a garage job. All of 50yds away.
Thanks for that eagle3, Seats from which vehicle?

I thought you were changing seats from a later C15. Not sure what other vehicules would have compatible seats, apart from a Visa.

Not familiar with the later(post 1998/9) 1.9d.

...hello Milly, welcome and thanks for joining the forum. As for the seats, I've seen P309 GTi seats in an M reg C15D - looked good but unfortunately not that easy to find these days. :( :D

If 309 seats go then 205 seats might too, but I haven't tried.

They made a "Peugeot C15" with a 205 nose. Mechanically the front is basically the same as a 205.

This one's got some nice velours seats from what could be a ZX? They could be 309 seats I suppose. Not sure http://www.leboncoin.fr/utilitaires/274 ... htm?ca=5_s I would be interested to know as my seats are no great shakes.
