Although doors are a bit rusty the shell is very good.

Great what year is it how many Km?

In the UK we can tell the age within six months by just looking at registration number and look up an exact first date of registration on a government web site, if the owner has put a personal number on it the only way to tell is by looking it up on the government website.

Concerning number plates you used to have to change them if you moved to a different Departement, or you bought a car registered in a different Departement.
Since a couple of years ago the law changed and the new style plate stays with the vehicle. But there's nothing evident to tell the age from the plate. If you buy a vehicle with an old style plate you have to get it changed to a new style plate.

Just a quickie I'm in the process of putting a "Plaque de Tare" on the front right wing which is obligatory in France. Just wanted to know what the official width and length of the vehicle is for this. Somebody with a french C15 will be able to say. Got the weights off the Carte Grise(reg doc).

...there is a technical spec for the C15 on the forum:

technical-equipment-specs-all-models-t341.html#p2256

...it's in feet and inches :o  , but I have a later catalogue for the Champ van and it says it is (L) 400cm x (W) 162.6cm x (H) 180cm. Hope that helps - if you need a scan of the Champ catalogue I can do you one :?: :D

Actually I have a Haynes manual with the dimension in mm. I just wanted it to be exactly the same as other c15s.

Anyway I'm off out so I'll have a look at the plaque when I see a C15. They're everywhere here. :D Just wanted to finish it the morning but no worries.

Thanks anyway. wave
