visa 11RE

Postby steveh » Tue Oct 25, 2011 8:42 pm

Hi Folks

I'm trying to sell my Visa 11RE, I used it as a daily for 4 years...on sorn currently without an MOT, but lots spent on it and all the usual work done, rear struts etc. A bit scruffy but lots of parts with, wouldn't take much to make it nice. Brand new rear seats to go with, new bumper, wheels, etc. etc..

anyone interested?

...I would agree whole heartedly with what Steve says about his 11RE. I've known the car now for severn years in two ownerships and it's well worth saving with only so few left:

Back in the land of Visa ownership now after a 200 mile drive down from Glasgow and she went like a dream. Havnt had time to look at all the goodies in the boot yet . Blowy exhaust is the 1st job to do and then she will go in for an MOT but im hoping that not much is wrong due to the way she drives. I will keep you all posted.

Great news Richard! :D Glad to hear that it drove the 200 miles back with no problems - bodes well for the MOT! :D

Took the Visa for its MOt this morning and although she failed , i dont think badly. Here is a "to do " list
Both rear brake pipes
o/s/f tyre worn,(spare is like new)
o/s/r wheel bearing slight play( should nip up as its not noisey)
O/s/f headlamp aim too low(already sorted at Mot station)
Imbalance on front brakes.
So hopefully their will be another Visa back on the road next week and i will take a couple of pics for the gallery.
