Visa spotting in France

Postby Six-cylinder » Sun Feb 19, 2012 9:20 pm

I have been to Barcelona this weekend and driven down though France so I have been Visa spotting, only two to report both in poor condition and unfortunately both were viewed from the motorway so I did not have time to photograph them. I spotted 12 C15 vans and photographed this one from the motorway. I stayed Saturday night in Dijon and found one parked in the street but I did not take my camera out to dinner so my friend with me took its picture on his i phone and has promised to email it to me.

C15 spotting in France gets a bit tedious after a while.. :D

Visas certainly less common.

I did not see a single C15 on 2000 miles of toll roads/motorways. All the C15s I saw were off the motorway, there seems to be far less C15s about these days even in France.

...this Pickup was one of Chris's C15 spots back in 2009:

Autoroutes not really C15's territory. :D

Yeah I suppose you do see some interesting versions. Certainly around here in the vineyards etc the standard white C15D is very common. A few Dangel 4x4 versions as well.

Now is the time to photograph C15 in France as well as UK especially the unusual variants. I also like the company livery vans showing what they are doing and I think numbers will drop quickly.
