Why oh why can't I open this particular make of photo files that often appear on the French forums

Test image from another photobucket contributor:
Is the image actually available? Can you see the thumbnail? "Image supprimee" normally means suppressed or deleted. But the image above suggests there isn't a global hotlink suppressor on photobucket.
It also seems to be used when an uploaded image is too big on some French sites.

You actually have not uploaded a photograph to your Photobucket account Mike, but the image saying 'Image Supprimé'.

...might be that the image has just been deleted and the old link left in place and like Photobucket, it comes up with the error box.
